Certificate of conformity to GOST R requirements – it is a document by which independent from the manufacturers and consumers bodies confirm the conformity of products to the definite safety requirements established in the regulatory documents. Certification in Russia is based on the Federal laws “On consumer protection” and “On technical regulation”. One can acquire one of the following options of the certificate of conformity of the products: certificate of conformity for the serial production and for the batch of products.
A certification body issues the mandatory certificate in the GOST R system in case the safety requirements are taken from the established Nomenclature of products effective from 01.07.2012. Selling products and customs clearance are impossible without the certificate of conformity.

The GOST R certificate of conformity can be issued only if all the necessary for some products additional certification documents are available: health certificate, veterinary certificate, fire safety certificate etc.
